Exhibiting “1/1 Elucidator” at AnimeJapan 2019
Cerevo × Good Smile Company

 

Cerevo and Good Smile Company will be exhibiting “1/1 scale ELUCIDATOR” at AnimeJapan to be held on 23rd – 24th March 2019 at Tokyo Big Sight.

“AnimeJapan 2019” is an event where a large number of anime-related companies and organizations from Japan and overseas exhibit, alongside anime goods sales, stages and events.

 

1/1 ELUCIDATOR is an officially licensed smart toy which faithfully reproduces the one-handed sword appearing in the hit anime “SWORD ART ONLINE”.
Cerevo’s ongoing project “S2R (From screen to the real world)” creates unique, real world connected versions of objects and devices that appear in animation, games, movies and other media. “ELUCIDATOR” represents the next phase of S2R products developed by Cerevo.
The authentic 1/1 reproduction of the one-handed sword “Elucidator” wielded by the main character, Kirito from Sword Art Online. As well as exactly reproducing the appearance of the sword, dazzling light is emitted when the owner wields the blade. 1/1 ELUCIDATOR also uses additional leading-edge technology, such as voice recognition and motion detection to draw you into the original world.

ElUCIDATOR is developed and manufactured by Cerevo, with sales and support handled by Good Smile Company, Inc. The two companies plan to collaborate in the development of ELUCIDATOR promotions, details will be announced once the product officially becomes available.

At Good Smile Company’s booth at AnimeJapan, cosplayers will demonstrate the 1/1 ELUCIDATOR and in addition to the product static display, a hardware case that can carry ELUCIDATOR will be showcased. Bundled items such as a USB cable and battery pack will also be on show^*1. Alongside the dynamic demonstrations by booth staff, touch and try sessions are also planned.

Notice of issue related to one function of smart alarm “cloudiss”

 

Cerevo is aware of an issue with one function of the smart alarm “cloudiss”.

 

Outline of the Issue
In the process of linking cloudiss and Google Calendar, an error message appears on the setting confirmation screen (final stage of the process) and can not complete.
• When the issue occurred: Approx. 2018/11/01
• Function resumption date: By 2019/02/22 (estimated)

*The function resumption date was 2/20 when this was posted, but it is currently estimated 2/22.（as of 2/19）

*We are proceeding with restoration of the function and will inform as soon as we know the timing of resuming the function.（as of 2/22）</del)

Currently, we are investigating fixes and are aiming for a swift resolution of the issue. We are sorry to all cloudiss users for this trouble. We will inform you on this web page and the official Cerevo Facebook and Twitter accounts as soon as the issue has been resolved.
For your reference, you can still use basic functions such as alarms that specify the time and day of the week using the companion smartphone application and alarm tone/volume changes, etc. without problems.

Cerevo will be displaying its best selling officially licensed smart toy, DOMINATOR, a fully mechanized, transforming replica of the gun used in the hit anime “PSYCHO-PASS” (©PSYCHO-PASS Committee).

In commemoration of the release of the “PSYCHO-PASS Sinners of the System” theater animation trilogy screening, Tower Records Inc. will open a collaboration cafe called “GINO THE CAFE” at its TOWER RECORDS CAFE (Omote-Sando Shop) for a limited period from 24th Jan through 3rd March 2019.

Update available for 1/8 TACHIKOMA adding new features with “Voice Collection” and “Synchronization”

Cerevo today released updated firmware Rev.1.3.0 for “TACHIKOMA 1/8 scale Moving, Talking and Synchronizing” which contains new “Voice Collection” and “Synchronization” screen features.

With the voice collection feature, you can select and play the dialog spoken during your past conversations with Tachikoma. Use the application to listen to more than 600 phrases recorded by the original TV series V.O. actress Sakiko Tamagawa^*1.

^*1 Dialog related to system functions such as initial settings and internet connection, errors, etc. are not available from the voice collection feature.

Cerevo has also updated the “Synchronization” feature which allows 1/8 Tachikoma to share their learned data with each other. It is now possible to check the amount of information synchronized by all 1/8 Tachikoma from the application.

FlexTally
FlexTally is a tally lamp system designed for easy operability and is available at a price range that means even small studios or streaming sites can look to add it to their multi-camera set-ups. FlexTally can be used via either wireless or wired connections for added convenience and its built-in battery allows for portability and use in remote shooting locations.

If you use FlexTally in combination with Cerevo’s live streaming video switcher LiveWedge, no advanced setup is required and users can easily complete installation without special knowledge of video equipment or network connections. The station unit can be connected to LiveWedge by simply connecting to the same Ethernet network as LiveWedge. It is also possible to connect directly to LiveWedge without going through a router. The world’s first VR shoes, “Taclim Shoes” give haptic feedback to your feet in VR via tactile motors. They transmit foot movement instantaneously through the built-in accelerometers and gyroscope sensors, and also via attachable sensors such as the Vive Tracker.

XON REC-1 and LOG-1
REC-1 is a sports camera and the newest member of Cerevo’s XON series of smart sports devices. REC-1 will be bundled with LOG-1, a mountable 6-axis companion sensor for REC-1. Sensor data from LOG-1 can be overlaid onto REC-1’s 1080p60 video, creating a complete picture of your sports activity. For example, you can combine a first person video of your cycling or motor sports racing with acceleration, braking, turning and location data. Tipron
Tipron was developed based on the concept to turn all the walls, floors and ceilings in your home into displays, providing a new experience for visual media consumption and it is available at the Official Cerevo Store as well as Amazon.de for €2,499.

Tipron can automatically project an 80 inch HD screen from a distance of 3 meters. Its transforming function allows it to project at a variety of different heights and angles and contract to a compact size when not in use. Tipron will automatically adjust its height depending on its current operating mode, for example, Tipron can contract to a compact size when charging and moving, then expand to 80 cm when projecting images or video. Tipron is operated via its dedicated smartphone app. You can specify the location, time and projection content, then Tipron will automatically move to the specified place and project information to the specified wall, floor, ceiling or other places at set times of the day.

Tipron comes with built-in speakers and supports a variety of audio of video playback functions. It has a HDCP compatible HDMI input to project video from PC’s, game consoles or video players, Tipron can also take advantage of wireless video streamers such as Chromecast to project internet videos.
