Cerevo is exhibiting the latest line-up of connected IoT devices at ISE 2017

Exhibiting the World’s First Smart Projection Home Robot and VR Shoes and Gloves, as well as Live Streaming and Connected Devices

Cerevo, an Internet connected consumer electronics manufacturer based in Tokyo, Japan, will be exhibiting  its latest devices will be at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2017 at at RAI Amsterdam in The Netherlands from 7th-10th February 2017.

The lineup will mainly focus on Cerevo’s IoT business solutions including Tipron – a transforming Internet connected smart projection home robot for homes and businesses, Taclim – the World’s First VR Shoes and Gloves, with Built-in Tactile Devices, LiveShell X – a 1080/60p H.265 live video streaming device, LiveWedge – a 4 input HDMI switcher with live streaming capabilities, and REC-1 and LOG-1 – a sports action camera with smart sensor technology.


Product Overview

Tipron
Tipron was developed based on the concept to turn all the walls, floors and ceilings in your home into displays, providing a new experience for visual media consumption and it is available at the Official Cerevo Store as well as Amazon.de for EUR2,499.
Tipron 
can  automatically project an 80 inch HD screen from a distance of 3 meters. Its transforming function allows it to project at a variety of different heights and angles and contract to a compact size when not in use. Tipron will automatically adjust its height depending on its current operating mode, for example, Tipron can contract to a compact size when charging and moving, then expand to 80 cm when projecting images or video.

Tipron is operated via its dedicated smartphone app. You can specify the location, time and projection content, then Tipron will automatically move to the specified place and project information to the specified wall, floor, ceiling or other places at set times of the day.

Tipron comes with built-in speakers and supports a variety of audio of video playback functions. It has a HDCP compatible HDMI input to project video from PC’s, game consoles or video players, Tipron can also take advantage of wireless video streamers such as Chromecast to project internet videos. Taclim
Taclim is a set of VR shoes and gloves that are capable of detecting user movements as input and translating in-VR action to real world haptic output.

Cerevo has specially developed customized tactile devices in collaboration with Nidec Seimitsu Corp., there are total of eight state-of-the-art tactile devices in the shoes and gloves. In enabling haptic feedback for the user’s hands and feet according to images and sounds in a VR space,
Since the built-in tactile devices can freely change the strength of feedback, a sense of stepping on different ground in a VR space such as desert, grassland, water and more can be achieved via haptic feedback. Also, the 9-axis sensor built into the shoes and gloves functions as an input device to capture movement to reflect actions in the VR space.

Taclim is scheduled to be available for purchase in Autumn 2017 at a price between US$1,000 to 1,500 (EUR TBD). ttps://taclim.cerevo.com/en/
LiveShell X
LiveShell X is the latest and most advanced model in Cerevo’s line of award-winning LiveShell devices. The innovative device supports live broadcast streaming with HDMI input encoding at up to 1080/60p in H.265 or H.264 and recording to a microSD card without a PC. LiveShell X provides stable, professional quality streaming. It also supports simultaneous multi-streaming and the ability to add subtitles and lower third graphics. XON REC-1 and LOG-1
REC-1 is a sports camera and the newest member of Cerevo’s XON series of smart sports devices. REC-1 will be bundled with LOG-1, a mountable 6-axis companion sensor for REC-1. Sensor data from LOG-1 can be overlaid onto REC-1’s 1080p60 video, creating a complete picture of your sports activity. For example, you can combine a first person video of your cycling or motor sports racing with acceleration, braking, turning and location data.
