Direct camera attachment: no cables, no external power required.
Cerevo, an internet-connected consumer electronics manufacturer headquartered in Tokyo, will release FlexTally Uni, the industry’s first* tally light compatible with Nikon’s Digital Accessory Shoe, in October 2025. The retail price in Japan will be ¥27,800 (tax included). Pricing for the US and Europe will be announced at a later date. FlexTally Uni is designed to work with Nikon ZR from Nikon Corporation (Nikon).

Key Features
Attach directly to the camera
FlexTally Uni connects directly to the Digital Accessory Shoe of Nikon ZR cameras. Once attached, it provides red or green tally indicators to clearly show whether the camera is recording.
No cables, no external power
Unlike conventional tally systems that require separate power supplies and control cables, FlexTally Uni operates simply by mounting it to the camera shoe. Power is supplied directly from the camera, enabling cable-free operation and reducing setup time.
Receives tally signals via HDMI-CEC
When the camera is connected to a compatible switcher, FlexTally Uni receives tally control signals via HDMI-CEC and automatically adjusts the tally light accordingly.
Lightweight, mobile workflow
FlexTally Uni supports portable filming environments where mobility and simplicity are essential.
Developed by combining Cerevo’s expertise in live production equipment with Nikon’s advanced digital accessory shoe technology, FlexTally Uni introduces a new workflow option for filming.
